MT. ASHLAND SKI AREA
From atop the Siskiyou Crest, Mt. Ashland provides terrain for skiers and riders of every ability. Founded in 1964 and operated by a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Mt. Ashland is Southern Oregon’s hub for outdoor recreation. With a peak elevation of 7,533′ and over 200 acres of skiable terrain, find your happy place amongst our steeper terrain in The Bowl, one of dozens of groomed runs, in one of our tree glades or at the Learning Center.
Located just eight miles from I-5 near the Oregon-California border, Mt. Ashland features a full rental shop (with ski and snowboard rentals and tuning), several dining options, the T-Bar Lounge, a retail shop, and ski school.

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded a $3,500 grant from the National Ski Areas Association’s (NSAA) Sustainable Slopes Grant Program. This funding will support the installation of waterless urinals in our lodge restrooms, a significant step towards reducing water usage and enhancing our sustainability efforts! We’re proud to be part of NSAA’s Sustainable Slopes program, which supports ski areas in adopting sustainable practices across their operations. 🎉
In addition, we are excited to share that Mt. Ashland Association has been recognized as one of Oregon’s 100 Best Green Workplaces by Oregon Business magazine.
This honor reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship! 🏔️🫶🏼

It will likely be chillier than yesterday but another bluebird day on Mt. A! There is some wind in the forecast as well so keep your fingers crossed that it stays calm.🤞🏼
Today is the Great Mt. Ashland Egg Hunt! There are 3 ways to participate:
1. Somewhere on our Mountain (in bounds and guest accessible) is a large, glittery golden egg! Find that and you’ve won a 25/26 Season Pass!😱
2. There are also 3 prize bags hidden somewhere on the Mountain so find those and they are yours to keep. 🎉
3. For the kiddos, 8 and under, we have a traditional Egg Hunt at 11:30 am in the Learning Center. It’s free and does not require any skiing or snowboarding or a lift ticket! 🐰
Next Saturday we have the Jib Apocalypse Rail Jam and next Sunday is our Closing Day Party!
